When submitting a video, please do not exceed 4 minutes. Video prompts: your name, what you do for a living (or did), what you were prescribed benzos for, how long you were on the medication, why you came off, withdrawal symptoms, how long it took to feel functional again after last dose, and how your life feels and looks like today.

Increased Mortality Risk

"A cohort study found that initiating benzodiazepine treatment was associated with a 4% to 9% increase in mortality risk over follow-up periods of 12 to 48 months. This suggests that benzodiazepine use may contribute to higher mortality rates beyond overdose incidents."
